REFLECTIVE BOOKMAKING
The central focus of the unit is to create a narrative book which its process promotes positive self-reflection and meaningful connections to students’ lives. By the end of the unit, students will understand how to interpret meanings in artistic works and
how art functions as a record of social and cultural experiences.
BIOLUMINESCENCE
The central focus of the unit is to integrate bio science into art lessons and expand students' understanding in
the themes of art making. Students will investigate how multiple disciplines can be incorporated into art making
and how the integration bring a spark of new ideas.
Throughout the unit, students will balance experimentation and freedom with safety and responsibility
while developing and creating art work.
FUTURE ME!
The central focus of the unit is to create a future self-portrait to promote positive self-expression and conceptualize the idea of future.
By the end of the unit, students will understand how artists experiment with forms, structures, materials, and concepts to make meanings and develop awareness of perceptions and experiences.
